What we collect
When you contact Mr. Fast Fix for a quote or schedule work, we collect information you choose to share with us:
- Your name, phone number, and email address.
- The service address where the work will happen.
- Photos of the work area that you upload (sent only after we ask and with your consent).
- Voice recordings and transcripts from calls placed to or received by our voice agent. These are processed by our voice-call provider (Vapi) and stored only as long as needed to take notes and follow up with you.
- Notes our crew take about the job (e.g., materials used, time spent).
- Messages you send us — website chat, text messages, and WhatsApp — along with our replies. Some replies are drafted automatically by our assistant using our published service information; a person can always take over.
- If a neighbour referred you, the name and phone number you give us for them, used only to send their thank-you gift card.
How we use it
- To respond to your quote request and schedule a visit.
- To contact you about your job (texts, calls, emails about arrival times, follow-ups, or questions).
- To send invoices and secure payment links.
- To keep an internal record of work performed in case you call us back later.
We do not sell your information, run ad tracking, or share it for marketing.
Who we share it with
We work with a small number of vendors who help us run the business. Each is a data processor acting on our instructions:
- InsForge — hosts our application, database, and uploaded photos.
- Vapi — handles inbound and outbound voice calls with our agent.
- Stripe — processes card payments when you tap a pay link.
- Twilio — sends text messages (arrival ETAs, photo-upload links, payment links).
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Send you a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Delete that information (subject to invoices we are legally required to keep).
- Correct anything that is wrong.
Email us at mrfastfixkingston@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Cookies
The only cookie we set on a normal visitor is mff_op, which keeps our crew signed in to the operator app. The public site does not run analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be flagged on our homepage.
