Mr. Fast Fix is a handyman service operating in Kingston, Ontario. We do small-to-mid residential repairs — drywall, mounting, plumbing, electrical, painting, assemblies, and the long-list jobs nobody else wants to quote. Booking, quoting, and dispatch happen through this website, by phone, by text or WhatsApp, and through the automated assistant on this site.
Any written quote we send you is a good-faith estimate based on the work as you described it (and any photos you supplied). If on-site conditions differ significantly from what was described — additional damage, materials we can't source at the quoted price, structural surprises behind a wall — the operator will pause work and contact you with a revised number before proceeding. You always have the right to decline the revised quote and pay only for work already completed plus any travel/dispatch fee.
You can cancel or reschedule a booked job up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time at no charge — a quick call, text, or WhatsApp message is enough. Cancellations inside the 24-hour window may incur a travel/dispatch fee to cover the slot we held for you and the route we built around your visit. Same-day emergency cancellations are handled case by case; talk to us.
Payment is due on completion of the work unless your invoice states otherwise. We accept credit and debit cards on our card reader, cash, and Interac e-Transfer to mrfastfixkingston@gmail.com. Some jobs are invoiced instead, with a secure card-payment link sent by text; larger or commercial jobs may be invoiced with net-7 or net-15 terms by prior arrangement.
Photos you upload through the secure link we text you are used exclusively to assess your job, brief the operator, and confirm the work after completion. We may use anonymized before/after photos in our portfolio, on this website, or in testimonials — but only with your explicit consent. (Follow-up: the customer upload flow will be extended with a consent checkbox so this opt-in is captured at the moment you share the photo, not retroactively.)
All work is performed in good faith by experienced tradespeople. We carry liability insurance appropriate to our trade; a certificate of insurance is available on request. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions that our work reveals — for example, hidden water damage uncovered when patching drywall, knob-and-tube wiring found behind a switch, or asbestos discovered when removing old flooring. If we encounter something like that mid-job, we'll stop, document it, and walk you through your options before doing any further work.
If something about your job isn't right, please contact us directly first at mrfastfixkingston@gmail.com — most things sort themselves out with a phone call and a follow-up visit. Disputes that can't be resolved between us go to the Small Claims Court of Ontario under Ontario law.
We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever these terms change. Your continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
